Ordering
My work is represented by Gallery 12 in Wichita Kansas. If you cannot visit the gallery, I will be glad to receive your order for unframed prints and will ship anywhere within the U.S. or Canada. For more information or to order, please use the Contact form on this site with the photograph in which you are interested. I will follow up with you within one business day (unless I am off in the wilds photographing).
Framed art and Unframed prints
The following prices are base prices for unframed prints on paper, and are subject to change. Since I personally print every image up to 16.5” in width, I can print almost any size you require, at prices shown below. Contact me with specific size questions, and for information on framed items and possible canvas treatments. For sizes over 16.5”, I work with several custom printers in Wichita whose printing capabilities are just about anything imaginable.
Prints on Paper
In sizing digital photographs out of my cameras, I let the image tell me the optimal crop ratio rather than merely relying on the size dictated by the camera’s native pixel dimensions. While not all possible sizes are covered, the following table works for some standard sizes that I can print.
Image Size Price Image Size Price
8x8 $30 12x30 $170
8x10 $40 14x14 $90
10x10 $50 14x18 $120
10x15 $70 14x21 $140
10x20 $90 14x28 $180
12x12 $70 16x16 $120
12x15 $90 16x20 $150
12x18 $100 16x32 $240
12x24 $130 16x40 $290
For sizes outside my ability to print, please send me a query and I’ll check with one of those doing custom printing for me to determine cost and I will communicate back to you.
Framed, ready-to-hang art will need to be quoted individually. Like every other aspect of my work, I endeavor to match the photograph to a harmonious molding with a neutral mat. I work with a local framer in all matters of mounting, matting and framing. If you desire your own presentation to suit your specific circumstance, I strongly recommend that you purchase an unframed print and work with a framer in your area to achieve the presentation you desire.
Papers
I use exclusively acid-free papers, with either a matte, metallic, or semi-gloss surface, depending on the nature of the image. My matte paper choice is usually Hahnemühle William Turner or one of the fine linen papers from Red River Paper. I use Red River Polar Luster Metallic for much of my abstract and “fantasy” work while my semi-gloss choice is usually Ilford Smooth Pearl or Red River Arctic Polar Luster. These are all-cotton papers made to exacting standards without optical brightening agents that can discolor over time. I can offer prints on canvas, with either cropped or gallery-wrapped edges. Since I don’t stock canvas and the printing and preparation takes considerably more effort, I would need to quote a price separately for this option.
Printer
My current printer is an Epson P800 utilizing nine separate pigment inks. According to industry tests, print longevities exceed 50 years, especially when mounted under glass. Of course, there is always the disclaimer that environmental factors will play a large part: a print under museum glass in a room with indirect lighting will far exceed the life of the same print under window glass in direct sunlight.
Shipping
I charge my cost to pack and shipped insured. Smaller prints may be sent flat via USPS Priority Mail while larger prints are shipped via FedEx Ground rolled, interleaved with neutral tissue paper.
Thank you very much for considering my work to brighten your spaces and life!
